Awards are among the best ways to recognize good work of individuals or companies. At Engage 2018, we are taking this opportunity to reward the best and brightest minds in the digital media industry through a wide category of awards.
There will be "Achieving Excellence" and "Best Practices" Award in all the categories.

hOW TO APPLY
Follow the below given instructions to get your campaign nominated for an award.
  • Click on [Fill out Form] button and open the form to fill the nomination details. You need to login to your Google account to fill up the form.

  • Fill up the form details given to complete the procedure for award.

  • Choose the specific award category and enter the required details as described in the form.

  • Upload your campaign works (JPEG, DOC, PDF, VIDEO) against "Campaign Details" in the form.

  • In case you have any supporting media elements related to your campaign, upload the same in WeTransfer or any public URL. Share the Wetransfer link or the URL link against "Supporting Media Elements" in the registration form.

  • Once you have completed the form submission, pay the Award Entry Fees through NEFT or PayU money. NEFT details and PayU money link is shared on the form submission confirmation page.

  • If you wish to submit more entries click [Apply Awards] button and submit the form with details again.

  • Award Entry Refund Policy: If we do not receive sufficient entries ,the award entry submission fees will be refunded.

There will be 'Achieving Excellence' and 'Best Practices' Awards in all the categories.
Award Entry Fees: Rs. 4000/ + GST- for each entry.

WHO CAN APPLY

Entries are welcome from companies and media owners, as well as their digital agencies, advertising agencies, production or design companies, or other relevant marketing service providers. Any entry for a particular project should be co-ordinated among the different parties involved in the narrative. This will ensure avoidance of any confusion should multiple entries with respect to the same exercise is received for evaluation and selection for the award in the same category.

Eligibility Period

Works executed and campaigns launched between 1st April, 2017 and 31st August, 2018 are eligible to enter the awards.

Criteria for Award Entry

Highlight any unique campaign that resulted in improved customer engagement (1st April, 2017 – 31st Aug 2018). Highlight any new technology implementations or processes that improved customer engagement (if applicable).

Category OF AWARDS

Most innovative and creative website created to promote a particular Product/ Service, Organization/ Company, Films/ TV show/ News Show/ Events or an Organization/ Company which works for a social cause. Websites may provide information and/or promote, market or sell and are a point of contact for products, services, corporate, companies or individuals involved in on or offline commerce. The site has to be mobile responsive.

What to be provided?
  • Website URL and a document with screenshots along with the process flow
  • Following details needed: client name, objective / goal of the website / LP / micro-site, development budget, time taken to develop, team size and structure
  • Google / web analytics data
  • A document with all necessary information in a case study format
Judging criteria:

The layout, content, structure, ease of navigation, images, visual design - aesthetic, functioning (functionality), graphics, performance etc. will be looked at for evaluation. Site has to be mobile responsive.


Apply For Awards

Any creative AD campaign online (any platform including social media, 3 rd party websites etc) to promote any Products/ Services/ Cause / Events / Corporate/ Social/ Films/ TV Shows/ Entertainment/ Lifestyle/ Gaming etc. The campaign must consist of creative ad banners which were published on social media platforms, 3 rd party websites / forums etc.

What to be provided?
  • A document with screenshots of all the ad banners / creative along with the details of the platforms they were published
  • Following details needed: client name, objective / goal of the campaign, display ad formats, channel wise budget, period of campaign, details of the channels / platforms
  • Impact of the campaign with evidence i.e. analytics / insights etc
  • A document with all necessary information in a case study format
  • Judging criteria:

    The visual appeal, innovativeness, ad copies, impact etc will be looked at for evaluation. The ad should avoid ‘scareware’ practices.

A campaign that extensively used mobile search / gaming / advertising / other techniques / technologies etc for marketing which led to a successful promotional campaign resulting in increased customer activity / market share / brand awareness / customer engagement etc..

What to be provided?
  • Following Details are needed: campaign objective, target audience, target demography, creative and media strategy, campaign budget, client name, and achieved output
  • Analytics of the impact i.e. achieved output i.e. number of app downloads / traffic / engagement insights etc to be provided for evaluation
  • A document with all necessary information in a case study format
Judging criteria:

Strategy, Execution, Creativity, Impact of the campaign, Innovativeness, Audience engagement etc will be looked at for evaluation.

A 'Mobile app' developed for any Products/ Services/ Cause / Events / Corporate/ Social/ Films/ TV Shows/ Entertainment/ Lifestyle/ Gaming etc. for regular mobile / smart phone / tablets.

What to be provided?
  • Following details are needed: Goal / objective of the app, client name, development budget, development timeline, team size.
  • Development details – coding languages / frameworks etc
  • A screencast / demo of how the app looks like and functions
  • A document with screenshots and functional flow
  • App insights – number of downloads, active users, average usage, interactions etc
  • A document with all necessary information in a case study format
Judging criteria:

The idea, innovation, impact, usability, structure and navigation, User Interface and User experience, engagement created by the app will be evaluated by the Jury.

Best video campaign (multiple videos under a theme / series) that appeared on social media platforms, the digital platforms of publishers, media brand websites or any other platform.

  • campaign insights – reach, impressions, views, engagement (likes / comments / shares etc), clicks

Judging criteria:

Judges will look at the campaign concept, quality of craft and integration, the number of views the videos have got, performance (on the basis of engagement insight), the visual appeal of the videos, production quality, emotional appeal, brand integration and the user engagement garnered by the video campaign in influencing the viewers towards the cause/ product / service / event etc.

Engaging consumers and creating strong business impact / brand awareness with innovative use of social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram etc. The entry may be under any one of the following: Products/ Services / Corporate / Social cause / Films/ TV Shows/ News Shows/ Events etc.

Judges will look at the campaign strategy, concept, the content and visual appeal of the elements used, and the user engagement garnered by the social media campaign in influencing the audience towards the cause/ product / service / event etc.

Use of mobile social networks, person-to-person and/or community channels that drives and delivers a creative communication – image / video to a large scale of viewers organically. The organic reach must be significantly higher than a paid reach (if any).

Judging criteria:

Judges will look for information and understanding of the business and/or marketing challenge along with a solid mobile strategy and the activity tracked through the active participation of the community through Apps/ videos/ social media/ Whatsapp/ SMS/ Wechat etc.,

Any campaign that achieved outstanding results by using a combination of the following items - search engine marketing – SEM, Search Engine Optimization, content marketing, social listening, PPC, and social media optimization.

What to be provided?

  • A document showcasing all the supporting evidence i.e. strategy and research, ad copies, before / after reports, creative / videos, target keywords, sentiment analysis etc
  • The impact of the campaign i.e. insights – before and after status, outreach insights
  • A document with all necessary information in a case study format
Judging criteria:

Judges will look for information and understanding of the approach to the problem, research and strategy, methodologies used and the final impact.

Any blog publication on any subject/vertical, written by an individual or a group is eligible for this category.

What to be provided?
  • Following details are needed: Goal / objective of the blog, the legacy / history behind the blog, blogger(s) bio URLs of 5 most popular blog entries / articles
  • Google analytics report of last 3 months including total visitors, top sources, top pages, popular search keywords, top locations
  • Social media insights i.e. number of followers / fans, reach, and engagement

This award shall be bestowed to the digital agency which supersedes the other agencies in terms of outstanding business performance, overall achievements recognized for inspired leadership, management excellence in India both in terms of advertising and communication industries. In order to be eligible for this category, the agency has to submit entries for at least 3 award categories as mentioned here.

What to be provided?
  • Please provide the following details: three or more significant campaigns and its details along with the links, creative, videos, platform details, insights, ROI etc in one single document.
  • Provide a list of your top 10 clients and the nature of work with them
  • Provide at least 3 most significant client testimonials (along with their contact details, job titles)
  • Mention other award submission related works undertaken throughout the year.
Judging criteria:

The judges will look for overall campaign performance of the agency, and the ability towards creating noteworthy impact towards business growth of its clients.

An independent jury consisting of professionals from Advertising, Marketing, PR and digital development fields will judge the entries.

Great care has been taken in selecting a judging panel comprising the right balance of specialized knowledge, experience and objectivity.

Strict guidelines, designed to eliminate cronyism or breaches of rules of entry, will be followed. In all categories, judges will look primarily for projects that have met the client/advertiser's objectives. Winning projects will be able to offer demonstrable success in this regard. However, judges will also take into account the level of difficulty of those objectives and the degree to which they have been met using innovative and creative treatments.

Judging criteria

Concept Quotient (20%)

Ideas/concept must be original besides being out of the box. Also, creative selection of communication channels and innovation in objectives / goals will be noted. In a nutshell, What were you thinking?

Content (20%)

How impactful is the content matter of your campaign / website / app etc? Are they visually rich, user-friendly, easy to grasp, and innovative? The imagery, copies, word plays, text content, design - all are at stake here!

Performance (20%)

Judges will be clearly looking at quantification of results as how far the objectives set for the campaign / application are met in terms of reach, engagement, and final results.

Experience (20%)

This is that 'wow' factor that is in play here. What the judges are going to look for is the visual experience of your campaign / application. Is it delightful?

Innovation (20%)

How different is your campaign / application in terms of execution? Did you take some innovative approach to develop the same?
